It is no stretch of the imagination to say that we LOVE Mexican food. I could eat it every week and it would not get old. I craved so much Mexican food while I was pregnant with both of my girls. When I was dealing with Gestational Diabetes, I had to be very careful of not indulging in the rice, beans, and tortillas. These Easy Baked Chicken Fajita Salads became a staple meal for us.

This is an easy and simple low carb crockpot creamy chicken mushroom casserole that is sure to please even your non low carb family members!
Crock Pot Creamy Chicken Mushroom Casserole
This is a total comfort food post here… I made this dish trying to recreate a dish I used to make for my husband that used cream of soup yuckiness. I was so excited with how yummy and wonderful this casserole came out using real ingredients to make the sauce. It was so easy to make to, because you use your slow cooker to do all the work.
This Creamy Chicken Mushroom Casserole is fairly low carb. I used Joseph’s pita bread for the topping. If you need to be gluten free, I would use gluten free bread crumbs.read more
We have had a lot of fun on Grassfed Mama so far this year. I wanted to highlight some of our top post so far from March.
1) Best Brownie in a Mug
This is always a crowd pleaser. I created this recipe when I was pregnant and dealing with gestational diabetes. I was needing a snack that I could fix quickly during a nap and that I actually wanted to eat (crazy pregnancy taste buds). I would make this every day (and sometimes twice a day if I needed the extra energy).
When I was pregnant I would use almond butter instead of peanut flour. After I had my baby, I was introduced to peanut flour. I loved how I could make this brownie in a mug with the extra benefit of coconut oil. I get raving reviews from readers how they love it too. Hope you enjoy my Best Brownie in a Mug. This detoxing facial mask uses natural ingredients to pull out the impurities from your skin leaving you clean.
Why make your own facial mask?
Going to the spa is expensive. You don’t have to waste your time and money when you can make a simple mixture at home.
You can even throw a Spa Party with your friends and make your own at home spa treatments. It would be a fun way to visit with each other and save money.
This facial mask would be a deep cleaning detox. You probably would want to test it on a small spot before applying to your entire face just in case you may have a reaction. Also this is a pretty deep cleaning detox, I would only do it once a week or every other week.read more

Make your own DIY Baby Powder with this simple and easy recipe – Feel confident that it is healthier without the TALC and better for your baby too.
DIY Baby Powder {Talc Free}
Why Talc Free?
I’m going to be perfectly honest. I’m still learning daily about natural health and natural living. What I enjoy doing is learning and then being able to share what I learn with you.
So I started thinking about baby powder. I don’t use baby powder on my babies. I have a small travel sized bottle I will sometimes use between washing my hair if my hair looks oily.read more
